Bio

 

​At the beginning of 2020 Eonian was officially formed. An Italian band with progressive pop-rock roots that writes and performs in English and Italian. The band is made up of artists coming from previous musical experiences.

 

Marcello Convertini sings lead and back-up vocals in addition to playing the keyboards and bass. A performer originally from Canada, he was involved with various groups and as well as being a solo artist. He has done original and collaborative compositions and musical theater.

Antonio Valente plays the drums and sings lead and back-up vocals. Starting out as a lead vocalist with various groups, he acquired experience that veered him towards the progressive rock world playing the drums with famous artists.

 

Simone Sassi plays the bass and keyboards and sings back-up vocals. He studied the piano and has played keys and bass with various rock, blues, funk, and disco with cover and tribute bands as well as composing his own original material. He also has experience in the theatrical realm.

 

Ferruccio Rosellini whose passion for music co-habitates with the figurative arts as a painter and teacher of art, plays the acoustic and electric guitars along with back up vocals.

 

Also featuring Paul Salvatore Ferrarotto on the acoustic guitar with lead and back-up vocals.

 

The band is set to officially release their second album "Pure as Gold"  on the tails of “I Still Believe in You” and its mandate is to continue to communicate positive messages of hope and soul searching to its fan base and listeners alike. Recorded in Pisa at 2emme studio. Engineered, mixed, and mastered by Marco Bianchi Bandinelli. Additional engineering at SpiritSound studio by Paul Salvatore Ferrarotto. The album is an artistic departure from their first, blending classic rock & easy listening bi-lingual music with more of an edge while still maintaining its roots in pop, rock and progressive styles.
